This is one of the less expensive clamshell enclosures from a reputable brand. Clamshell is better than sleeve design to ensure the thermal pad stays in place while closing.
Tool-free opening is a bonus.

I agree, I have one of these, and the clamshell design is nice, and while I'm always been concerned about heat, it hasn't been a problem.
