This adidas e gift card deal is mainly useful for stretching spending on jerseys, shoes, and other brand items, especially if it can stack with the Chase $20 back on $100 offer. The card is capped at two per checkout, and the official eBay selection has narrowed, with no adizero shoes listed there. Checkout has also been unreliable on the website, with card failures reported, while the app worked for the same cards. The promo was pulled early, so availability may be limited.
Chase cardholders with the adidas spend offer, because the gift card purchase may help trigger the cash-back promotion.
Soccer fans buying national-team jerseys, because the credit can offset a full-price kit purchase.
Shoppers who can complete checkout in the app, because the same card worked there after website payment failures.
Buyers who need a smooth website checkout, because card payments can fail on the adidas site even when the same card works in the app.
People expecting a reliable gift-card purchase, because credit card payment can fail and the promo can be pulled early.
Shoppers who want broad product choice, because the official store selection has narrowed and some running lines are missing.
