The Wonderboom 4 is a compact waterproof Bluetooth speaker that stands out for portability, solid build, and easy outdoor or shower use. It can fill a room or small studio with clear, crisp sound, and the battery life is described as strong. Pairing two units for stereo and the USB C upgrade add convenience, and the floating design is a useful bonus. The main tradeoffs are limited bass, occasional connection or reliability complaints, and a price that has often been seen much lower elsewhere. A handy small speaker if you value toughness and size over deep bass.
Common Questions (5)
The sound is generally described as crisp, clear, and room-filling for its small size, with a midrange-forward tuning that works well for voice and casual listening. The tradeoff is rolled-off bass and highs, so it is not the best choice if you want strong bass or a more punchy sound.
Yes. It is waterproof, floats, and has been used poolside, in showers, kayaking, at the beach, and for outdoor chores, making it a strong pick for wet environments.
Yes. A Wonderboom 2 and Wonderboom 4 can connect and work together, and the speaker also supports pairing two units for stereo. One caveat is that some users could not get two units to connect reliably in double-up mode.
It is loud enough for a picnic table, a small studio, or outdoor listening where you do not need party-level volume. It can also help outdoors when two units are linked for stereo, since that lets you play quieter while hearing it better over background noise.
Yes. Battery life is described as long or very good, and the model upgrades older UE units from micro-USB to USB-C, which is a practical improvement for charging convenience.

Personally I think it's solid for the cost (gets cheaper as others said), size, and linking functionality. Linking two together for stereo also means you can play music quieter outdoors but hear it better because you can drown out more outside noise.
