Unlike a couple of others who posted positive experience with this item, my experience was pretty bad. It worked fine for a few weeks. Then, inexplicably, it started making a repetitive droning sound, sort of like an engine hiccuping (dzhuh, dzhuh, dzhuh, dzhuh, dzhuh, etc.). It would not turn off and the volume buttons didn't work. I could find no reset pin (nor any reset instructions in the very sparse "documentation" included with the speaker). So, I returned it. For a day and a half, until I could get a chance to return it, it constantly made this annoying sound - I repackaged it and had to put it in the oven in order to minimize the sound!

This is my speaker of choice. Waterproof is a bonus. It's not enough for a full outdoor party environment, but it is definitely able to fill a room with quality sound while being the size of a softball. It has long battery life.

I have connected the 2 with the 4 and they worked together. The only difference I found between the two models is the USB connection. Micro vs usb-c.

I have was too many Bluetooth speakers (according to my wife) but the ones that have been grabbed most frequently for a variety of scenarios over the years have been the Micro 2 and the Soundcore Motion+. A lot of speakers have entered my rotations but those two have stuck around
