Just a heads up. I believe that is a photo of the dcv581h. Amazon has the wrong photo. My understanding is that the dcv580h does not have the hybrid power cord option.

Just a heads up. I believe that is a photo of the dcv581h. Amazon has the wrong photo. My understanding is that the dcv580h does not have the hybrid power cord option.

Great spot. I would want the ability to choose between cord and battery and probably would have ordered based on the incorrect photo if you didn't point this out

It is $79 for me as of now. Looked at some videos of this working. Idk, doesn't look to have a whole lot stronger suction than my Worx mini cube vacuum that I absolutely despise because it barely picks up sugar or coffee granules unless it's right over it. I have a similar sized Ridgid corded. I've love to have a cordless that sucks at least half as good as the corded, at a reasonable price. But I will admit, looks like a good price for this DeWalt.

Do not buy this. I returned this. Very low suction. If you want to buy a shopvac, buy the Milwaukee version instead.

My most used dewalt tool. It's for small cleanups, not massive shop vac jobs. Look at the size of the thing...for that, it's perfect. It's always next to me when I'm working. If I didn't score one at a yard sale for $10 I'd buy it.

Fine for the price if youre in the dewalt system and this will be your first cordless vac, but this thing is ancient and severely under powered compared to ALL competitors. I got this after stupidly ruining my older ryobi vac and promptly returned it. I ended up buying an m18 fuel vac on sale (still almost twice the price and battery adapters dont work unless modified).

Take these numbers/release dates with a grain of salt, just quick google search

Dewalt DCV580H (2016) 31cfm
Ryobi P3240 (2018) 45cfm (no longer sold but including because I had this previously)
Bauer 20v (2022?) 45cfm
Hercules 20v/120v (2021?) 39/40cfm
M18 (Non-Fuel) Vac (2017) 45cfm
M18 Fuel (2021) 50 cfm

Dewalt, for the love of god, please update your 20v vac line. I will sell my m18 vac if you come out with something decent, otherwise will probably start transitioning to M18.
