B840 boards do not support overclocking and are limited to PCIE 4.0. It probably doesnt affect those looking for a very budget board but some may find value in waiting for a B850 deal.

Yeah… i agree. You can almost get a B850 for close to this price. if they supported DDR4 they'd be selling like hotcakes.

This MB is perfect for my usage, has some features other boards don't have.

You can use 3x NVME drives, one x16 card and a x4 card at the same time.
Most other boards are limited to x1 for the chipset PCIE slots or slots slow down if Nvme drives are used.

Have 406TI on first GPU slot and a x4 elgato 4k60 Pro on the x4 slot.
Keep in mind if you use any of the other 3 PCIE slots, all 4 slots turn to x1.
