"Unique APCRB™ shell material…"

This appears to be a brand-created marketing name, not an industry-standard material. Based on luggage industry terminology, APCRB is most likely a proprietary blend involving:

* ABS
* PC (Polycarbonate)
* possibly reinforced or recycled polymers

The description emphasizing "strength," "fatigue resistance," and "lightweight" suggests it is probably an ABS/PC composite shell, which is very common in mid-range hard-shell luggage.

In practical terms:

* It is probably better than pure ABS
* But likely not as durable as 100% polycarbonate
* Suitable for normal travel and occasional checked baggage

The listed weight of 10.9 lbs for a large spinner also suggests it is not pure premium PC, since full-PC luggage is often a bit lighter and marketed explicitly as "100% polycarbonate."

What use case is this? Dimensions sound like it's 3 inches larger than International standards?

Came here to post exactly that the dimensions seem to exceed the 62" standard by 3.5". That's probably before it's even expanded.

How stringent are most airlines? I've never seen any check in attendant take out a tape measure. I really could use the extra space especially since some airlines are starting to charge $170 for a check in bag fee. (TAP Portugal).

I've seen the measurement check routinely done in Asia.

Just got one a few days ago & im using it right now. Its great.

However, it is split down the middle, so you either load both sides & zip them up, then close or load & flip it closed quickly if you don't use the zippers.
