All Presonus monitors I've used have a noticeable electrical hum at close monitoring distance. If you have these on your desk and a normal seating position, you will very likely find it aggravating. It's caused by low grade surface mount opamps, and there's no easy fix unless you're a very precise solderer. Presonus will not acknowledge this issue and doesn't honor warranty claims.

I would avoid all Presonus speakers including the "Pro" co-axial line, which under the hood are the exact same internals as the non-pro models. Overall a very shady race to the bottom since Fender bought this company out.
