These actually work! I have the Bauer brand but this product looks like same technology. It's legit.

It's weird how it works. The device heats up a small area so you feel a slight pain which mask the itchy. Kind of like scratching but your skin isn't getting ripped up.

I have got this since it just came out. For me it just masks the itchiness with the pain and of course result doesn't last long. Im a bug magnet, for mosquitos bite that go away on its own within a day, it is ok to use for some short relief, but for gnat/ no see um bites that cause me heavy swelling and intense itching, even the stronger mode of this only give me some burning feel that kick off the itch for a minute or less

I have a USB C one that is small enough to attach to your keychain, it's called HEAT IT. It works using heat for a short period of time. Mine is controlled via app and can do lower settings for kids.

I also bought the German made Bite Away brand in 2020 and that worked well. I gave it away and bought it again on Amazon in 2022 and received a fake one that burned me. The heating element looked cheaper otherwise a very good fake. Now I only use HEAT IT and I appreciate that it would probably be harder to fake since it works with an app.

Snake oil. There's no science backed evidence to back this. No claims as to how or why this even works from the manufacturer.

Essentially if you buy this, you want it to work, and in all likelihood, convince yourself of its efficacy.

We used to use a teaspoon in hot water until we discovered these. We have a different brand but they do work. Its temporary though but you can just whip this out when the itch comes back. A bonus for us is the charge lasts forever on the one we use.

"This is the first published controlled real-world study of the use of concentrated heat to alleviate itch induced by insect bites or stings. The results demonstrate a significant reduction in itch and pain using local heat application after insect bites or stings, based on data derived from a large data-set with more than 12,000 registered treatments from more than 1,700 individuals."

Additionally, one of the images above from the manufacturer literally says how it works.

Doesn't sound like you know what you're talking about.
