The UDPOWER C600 is a compact 596Wh LiFePO4 power station that stands out for portability, solid build quality, and useful everyday backup power. It has handled a full size refrigerator test, a wet dry vacuum, small electronics, and even a power hungry laptop, while solar charging works through the DC7909 port with compatible panels. The main drawback is slow wall charging, since the AC brick is only about 90 to 120W and a full recharge can take around 5 to 6 hours. It is also not a fast transfer UPS, and the shallow 12V port may not hold some fridge plugs securely, making it a practical backup for lighter loads.

Unlike its larger sibling (the S1200, which has an internal inverter for direct AC cable charging), the UDPOWER C600 relies on an external AC "Home Base" power brick adapter to recharge from a wall outlet.

The charging setup details for AC input are as follows:
  • Charging Interface: It utilizes the standard DC barrel port on the front/side of the unit (the same port used for solar and car charging, which features an 11V to 28V input window).
  • Adapter Capacity: The bundled external AC-to-DC power adapter typical for this tier outputs roughly 90W to 120W.
  • Recharge Time: Expect a full charge from 0% to 100% via a standard wall outlet to take around 5 to 6 hours.

Pro Tip: If you want to charge the unit faster than the stock wall brick allows, its DC input port can actually handle up to 240W max. You can achieve much quicker charge times (around 2.5 to 3 hours) by using a high-output solar array or an aftermarket variable DC power supply, provided you keep the voltage strictly within its safe 11V–28V limit.

I ran my full size KitchenAid refrigerator on it for a few mins to test it out, absolutely no issues even when compressor kicking in and out.
Wow, What model refridgerator do you have? My GE Profile side by side has a surge of almost 1200W for about 3-4 seconds, highly doubt this would sustain that high of a surge for that long without cutting out but I could be wrong.

I bought this unit. It's lightweight and easy to carry around. The only problem is the 12v plug is not deep enough. My 12v 37 quart frig plug would pop right out. I plug my 12v frig into my DIY 160 AH and it plugs right in with no problem. I think the 12v port is meant for 12v to 5v USB charging only.

A word of caution if you are going to mainly use for 12v frig for travel.

Mine arrived today and I'm damned glad I bought it. It's just a broadly practical backup with good connectivity to charge lots of small electronics, up to and including my very power-hungry laptop. It'll be one of the first things I grab in case of emergency. This is a pretty sweet cost of entry for basic peace of mind.

This is replacing a bunch of old and slow USB chargers for me. I'll probably mostly just keep it plugged in, and plug the family's phones/tablets into it when a fast charge is needed. Fast chargers alone cost more than a few bucks, and this provides a few.

The Gendome 3072WH/3000W power station — https://slickdeals.net/f/19594824 — would complement this nicely. The energy/power per dollar is even better there and that should run pretty much any household device/appliance. C600 for versatile portable use, Gendome for bigger applications.

This really is quite a fabulous deal compared to the other 600WH range of power stations with pass-through charging. I look forward to getting my hands on it.

Using this same coupon you can get this together with a 120watt solar panel for $298 including shipping. LiFePo batteries are far superior in terms of safety and life span (thousands of charge cycles) so this is an impressive device. I just ordered the version with solar panel.
