Good product but really watch that dwell time. It will. Damage plastics and some aluminum finishes if it sits too long or dries.

I tried the bug/tar remover to get pine sap off and it didn't work at all. Rubbing alcohol and hand sanitizer worked way better.

Straight up mineral spirits for tar works fantastic and doesn't damage automotive finishes.

WD40 works for removing tree sap. I'm sure most everyone has this in the garage.

I've been surprised by how good Maguire's gold class quick detailer has been at cleaning dead bugs off even old splatters.

The paint of the car is still fine to use on and dwell? That's where most will use.

You don't want to let it dry on the paint either. Headlights and grills are usually not painted and should be avoided.

For bugs, it helps a ton to just rehydrate their guts before washing. Grab a large beach towel and drape it over the front bumper. Soak it down and allow to sit 5 mins. Soak it again. Sit 5 more mins. Now wipe them off and wash as normal.

For real difficult guts, I have used the dryer sheet method in spots and had success with no scratching issues. Again, I was spot treating. Not scrubbing down the entire bumper with it.
