KFC's $5 Big Dunk Deal is a low-cost way to get five tenders with sauce, and the strongest appeal is simple price value versus ordering them separately. The deal also stands out for the sauce options, including two new sauces in some locations. The main drawback is portion size, since the tenders are repeatedly described as tiny, more like nuggets or boneless wing flats, and the taste can be dry, tough, or flavorless. That makes it a budget pickup only if the small size does not bother you.

Agreed. I did find them of better quality compared to Popeyes though.

Yup. I can't believe people actually pay for these. They're microscopic. They're basically nuggets - not tenders.

These are normally $12!?
In my area, one would have to do it a la carte and then add a sauce. Technically, you get one free sauce per a la carte tender. The total would come out to $2.49 x 5, which is CLOSE to $12.45.

I'm required to create an Awards account? What's next…a valid photo ID or passport? This is why the restaurants are empty.
Not when Slick Deal people arrive. Almost all of us have rewards accounts.

I always use a nickname, junk email, and Google voice # for all the Restaurant Apps. One time Wingstop asked for ID and credit card at pick up, and I told them the best I can do is show you my App confirmation and to take it or leave it.
If the restaurant instead chose to not honor it, you would have been out $ and they would have been able to sell it to someone else. I would not have liked that side of the transaction.

A deal would be a 5 tender combo for 5 bucks. You still need to add a drink and fries unless you want to be still be starving after eating 5 of these tiny things
I look at it this way. If I can be without food for a long time, every day (just drink coffee); it cuts down my weight. It makes me spend less and my fat (deficit) is being paid off. Then again, I am actually starting to care about my weight. So I end up never losing on these deals and starvation is never an issue because my body is used to it.

I decided to do this deal today because it was more than 50% off, two new sauces and I was able to get a prickly pear lemonade and still save!!
Gahdam, the did not have the prickly pear, but they did have the two new sauces. Good thing the regular lemonade was the same price!!
