Lenovo is cheaper.
Lenovo has a better track record than Onn...
Lenovo is significantly more powerful than the Onn 13.2 tablet.
Lenovo Tab Pro isn't getting any more Android upgrades and tops out at Android 16 (current Android released), but gets 4 years of Security Updates, through 2029.
Lenovo pen is pressure sensitive. Onn is not, from the reviews that I've seen.
Can't see about the Onn tablet Android upgrades or how long it will receive security updates... 🤷 ♂️

Don't expect the price to be less than $500 for the new model... maybe will be more then $600.

In my scrolling through the page I saw at least one other text (not selection and quotable as above) that said "included" as well. One was in a panel that changes with the little dots, and another is at the very bottom on the page.
When you put it in your cart it specifically shows as an included spec:

To answer a question posed earlier, the Onn will get at least 1 major Android update (it ships on Android 16) and 3 years of security updates.
The Lenovo is a more powerful tablet, but for typical everyday use, the Onn is snappier, likely because there is essentially no bloat at all. Uninstall the Walmart app and turn off the instant web games, and this is about as clean an Android tablet as one can buy. It's also significantly lighter than the Lenovo, while having a larger (and brighter) display, and comes with twice the storage. Because of its weight and excellent display, lately I've been pairing it with a Zenbook 14 for a ridiculously portable dual monitor setup.
I find myself using the Onn so much, I'm going to sell my Lenovo Idea Tab Pro and Keyboard cover pack.

About web browsing... yes it should be snappy BUT if you really want to improve your speed you should use Firefox and download and activate the addon... "Ublock Origin". Basically, after you install Firefox, google search "Firefox Ublock Origin" and install it. This will prevent Gigs and Gigs of internet data to never hit your CPU and this should be your biggest improvements regarding internet speed. If a specific website does not work due to the addon, then just use Chrome.

Not sure how accurate that pricing will be, but it should be taken into account... will the Gen 2 be approximately 3 times the tablet over the Gen 1?
At $230, I might actually bite this time. Been wanting to get a bigger tablet over my A9+ for Steam Link.

First of all, you call the Onn snappier after you delete the little amount of Walmart bloatware. I eliminated the small amount (I am sure it is more) bloatware that came with the Lenovo. But the Onn CAN NOT BE SNAPPIER in real life. Even if you have some bloatware left on the Lenovo... it is still SNAPPER, FASTER then the Onn it also has a much better GPU then the Onn.
Now you are saying that a 13.2" 2:3 aspect ratio is MUCH lighter then the 12.7" 16:10 aspect ratio. So the Onn is a MUCH bigger tablet and you claim it is MUCH lighter... AND I CALL OUT THIS BULLSHIT. Do you want me to post the actual weight of both tablets... you are right about one thing, one tablet is MUCH lighter then the other... do you want to guess which one is lighter... I will give you a hint, it is the SMALLER TABLET IS LIGHTER!!!
The Onn 13.2" weights 693 grams (2.12lbs) and the Lenovo Tab Pro 12.7" weighs 620g (1.37lbs).
So the Onn does have a larger brighter display (100 nits brighter) but even though it is larger display it's resolution is smaller. The Onn is 2.5K resolution and the Lenovo is 3k resolution... so the Lenovo screen is more sharper image. Now lets talk about refresh rate... the Lenovo Tab Pro has a higher refresh rate so the screen will be smoother. I am not convinced that the Onn screen is better.
OK... so the Onn has double the hard drive space which to me is a BIG DEAL. But I can make 128GB work. If you would get the Lenovo Tab Pro with 256GB hard drive then the hard drive technology goes from USF 3.1 to USF 4.0. Onn is USF 3.1.
And the best part of the Onn is that it can act as a second monitor... but you need to need it. Not many people looking for a tablet/monitor combo.
I feel the Lenovo Tab Pro is the MUCH better tablet. And yes... the only concern.. the biggest concern is the lack of security updates. I would manually make sure every 4 -6 months that google system is up to date and so is your browser and use Ublock Origin addon... that means your browswer will be firefox and ublock origin.. I would do this for every android tablet that I own.

This tablet uses the MT8300 which is about equal to a Snap Dragon 8 gen 2. Also... the hard drive technology will go from USF 3.1 to USF 4.1 (you get this only if you are able to buy the 256GB version of the Idea Tab Pro).
So how much faster will the new model be... we need to ask notebookcheck to compare the two CPU and then add 2% due to the hard drive technology increase. So the increase in speed is 39% PLUS 2% = 41% FASTER... That would be HUGE for a low level tablet but for a highly functioning tablet, you would be hard pressed to notice unless you are playing some heavy games.

I am sorry, your tablet can not even be discussed in the same breath as the Idea Tab Pro. Your tablet is a LOW LEVEL... or should I say.. the lowest level tablet that you can buy today. Maybe there is a worse fire tablet or a worse Onn tablet but really, the TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus is a low end tablet.
I will say the one stand out feature is your screen... but the Lenovo screen is not too far off. My favorite part of your screen is the anti-reflection coating. But it is just 100nits brighter lower refresh rate and lower resolution. Almost a wash.
Regarding reading books...
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro features a dedicated Immersive Reading Mode specifically designed to make reading e-books and PDFs more comfortable on its LCD screen. This mode can transform the display to mimic the look of an e-reader.
HARDDRIVE: The Lenovo uses UFS 3.1 and the TCL uses UFS 2.2. Basically everything will run faster due to the difference in hard drive speeds.
RAM: LPDDR5X supports data rates up to 8,533 Mbps. In contrast, LPDDR4X reaches a maximum of 4,266 Mbps. Yes TCL uses DDR4X and the Lenovo Tab Pro uses DDR5X.
If I would have to classify the Lenovo Tab Pro I would say it is a HIGH END MID RANGE tablet. And TCL would be classified as "the lowest level tablet" that is for sale today.

Also, the Yoga Tab Plus is on sale for $475, it comes with the pen, kickstand and keyboard cover. I got it about a year ago for I think $495? It's been extremely solid, really quick performance, I use it at work with a wireless keyboard and mouse and a dual monitor setup and it handles it all really well. I retired my 2 in 1 laptop as this is easier to grab and through around my neck with a shoulder strap. So for anyone debating between paying potentially $650 for the next gen Idea Tab Pro, maybe consider the Yoga Tab Plus, it's running a snapdragon 8 gen 3 processor, still really powerful and relevant.
