This headset is really nice.

I originally purchased the Pulse Earbuds but found them to hurt my ears during long game sessions but ended up selling them and picking these up. Super comfortable even during extended playing (3+ hours) and the battery lasts surprisingly long.

All PlayStation headsets have terrible durability. These will crack above the earmuffs. Regular ones crack at he apex of the head.

People always talk about how terrible the quality of these are.. but mine have had no issues. YMMV, and I've got a big head, I've been using mine since the black model was released maybe ~18 months ago? No issues with it, but I did buy a warranty on them.

My guess is that the black ones, being newer releases, might be a bit sturdier than the original white ones due to all the complaints of them cracking. The black ones also have a carrying case that I believe the white ones do not include.

I've worn them for hours at a time, in heat, in cold, on top of my PSVR2 headset, but I only use them in the house. Works great on PS5 and on PS Portal. I don't baby them, but I try to generally be safe with them.. YMMV, but I've also never had stick drift when some people have it on 15 different controllers, so maybe some people just use the stuff differently?

I'll say that the quality is good/fine. They're not amazing, but they just work perfectly when it's hard to find anything else that will work on a PS5 and Portal. That's what you're paying for. Would definitely recommend at this price. I'm a bit of a headphone 'snob' with a lot of the higher end ones.. this isn't that, but it's definitely passable.

How long have you had them and what color? Any cracking headband?

I have the white version, purchased around april of 2024. No cracking of the headband or peeling ear cushions.
They used to have an issue where they would randomly disconnect when playing a game, but a couple updates ago it fixed that problem and i havent had it disconnect while playing a game since.

there's a 3d printable part you can find on pintables.com to reinforce or fix the headband. But for the specs and quality of the audio, its a solid deal. Build quality on the headband is the biggest flaw on these. I've had mine for almost two years without any cracks, but there is some flexing on the hinge. I preemptively attached the 3d printed reinforcements and they've been great since. You get Planar drivers, and concurrent dual bluetooth/2.4ghz connection. Which a lot of higher end headsets don't have.

I just saw these and I'll give my review. I'm a nut when it comes to taking care of things I spend my money on. I gave these a shot about 8 months ago. I game lightly... about 2-3x a week for about 45m-1 hour each session.

Sound quality - very good

Connection quality - fair (they generally connect instantly but there's been endless times where they just suddenly disconnect mid game and you have to shut them off, remove and replace the dongle and reconnect.

Overall quality - Horrendous. I'm pretty gentle with these. I don't rip
Them off or pull from one side. When not in use they hang on a charger. The ear pads are separating and the black plastic where it meets the white headband is cracked on both sides. However, They still work fine.

Just a heads up, bought these at the start of the sale from Amazon and they have already cracked (I bought the black version btw). I can't seem to post the pictures on Slickdeals. I will keep trying to post.

You could post to an image hosting site and then post links (if not working on here)

If you're using mobile, it can be funky. - Scratch that, desktop didn't work either, so yeah its just funky.
