Community Reviews

Even Embers 4 burner propane grill at this price is a solid budget backyard cooker, with several pickups landing around $150 to $162 out the door and some extra discounts through rewards or store pickup. It is described as decently sized, basic but not bad, and quick to get cooking after seasoning the grates. The grill also gets credit for better evenness and preheat than a Weber Spirit II E 310, though it has less cooking space. Main cautions are store only availability, shifting pickup pricing, and assembly or quality issues on some units, including loose screws or dirty floor models.

Website reported one in a nearby store 30 miles away. Pulled the trigger, we'll see if the order goes through. I was planning on buying a used Weber off Facebook Marketplace, but it's honestly hard to beat a seemingly positvely-reviewed new unit. If I get a couple years out of it as a new griller, I won't complain too much.

Box is 23x26" btw, if you need to understand how to tetris it in your car

edit: above were approximations, actual measured are 30x27x25 but seems like it comes in other dimensions so YMMV

Grabbed one! Got the in-store model to avoid having to deal with the assembly. (Main complaint in reviews)

Picked mine up, box is 36"x33". Just barely fit in my hatchback.

Weird, the dimensions i noted above i approximated while at store, actual tape measured says 30x27x25 which is pretty close to my approximation for the two shortest dimensions. I guess maybe different boxes per state regulations?

edit: the Q&A section has answer with same dimensions as above

Picked up one that was already assembled. Some screws were loose and some parts assembled incorrectly. Otherwise its a very nice grill and beats walmarts, lowes and home depots price for a similar size grill

Thanks. Ordered for pick-up. I've been sitting on my Weber Spirit II E-310 with failed burner tubes for too long. Consumer Reports rating for GAS5420AS (version with side burner) is 73/100 just like the Spirit II E-310 but with better evenness and preheat performance. Compared to the Weber, this has a 45 sq inch less cooking grid area. I'm fine with that.
Weber burner tubes are covered by warranty,I have had several replacements at no charge

Hi. If you unbox it, do you think we can put some pieces in the back seat and large ones in the truck - I have a Camry.

I haven't opened it yet to build, but given that it needs to be assembled, I'm sure you could sort out the pieces into a larger area if needed.

Picked mine up today. From unloading my car to finishing cleanup, took 80 minutes. Cleaned the grates and seasoned them and cooked some steaks tonight. Seems good so far
