Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank LavenderPickle7682

Unfortunately, the title is incorrect. It's not "refurb", it's used. This is a trend with these ebay resellers.

As in, garage sale used. If a place says "refurbished", but doesn't explicitly say what they've done -- then all they've performed is a power test, a wipe down of the casing, and a system reset.

No components have been replaced, no batteries refreshed, etc. In other words, nothing has been actually refurbished.

Descriptors such as "Very Good" or "Excellent" or "Open Box" are meaningless and vague enough to suggest pretty much anything. Don't be surprised if they sneak in machines that really ought to be in a lower tier. Assume any accessories (power supply, cabling, etc) are third-party or counterfeit.

You might get a system that's a corporate lease that's been babied on a desk for 3-4 years....or a beat-up road warrior laptop. Sight unseen. Good luck.

When it comes to laptops or electronics on ebay I avoid. I honestly think these sellers are criminals or retarded...maybe both. I'm still waiting for some decent Dell Refurbished deals under $300. It's been a long while.

why is this still 300-400 bucks when it was 200-300 2-3 yrs ago ai bubble? fuk you and yes 11 gen intel sucks up battery its useless dump it. its worth 100 bucks at most.

dell stealing tax money so now offer nothing of value.
dont even bother just sell the ram to ai datacenters.
only low iq buys this shit.

avoid wait for ai datacenters to go bankrupt while gov bails them out with tax money.
there will be plenty of chips for all. useless ai chips but chips.

Picked up this same configuration directly from dell refurbished for less than $300. Even cheaper than e5270 I picked up 5 years ago.
