Really depends how much you use it? Brushless is obviously better, but if you're not using the tool constantly, the extra battery life and longevity might not be a huge deal. I'd rather have the extra battery and cheaper price

I've used my corded angle grinder for 20 years for cutting and welding cleanup and haven't needed to replace the brushes even once. Brushless is nice, but not a requirement.

YMMV, but personally don't think it's worth the extra money for brushless and one fewer batteries.

yep.. i've had the brushed for about 10 years or so (guessing) and it still mows through metal if you don't bog it down.
