You can buy a charger no name brand on eBay cheaply or Amazon I had to buy charger for differant voltage in another country I did not want to spend $50 I think it was under $20 for the copy it worked well and I did not have to convert the charger from 120v to 240v and rewire it

Let me preface with I'm not a contractor but I try to only get fuel line just cause it's nice to have the extra power when I need it. As for this is the m18 okay enough for my use. I just build as a hobby and looking to ditch the cord?

I bought this saw earlier this year for general use around the home and property. It's worked just fine for what I've done thus far---cutting 2x4s, building a stool, ripping 1/2" plywood, other random cuts. Often I just need to make a cut or two for a project I'm working on, so much nicer to just grab this and get the cut done instead of dragging out a corded saw and extension cord for just a cut or two. Maybe it's not suited for heavier work, but if I run into something like that I'll just get the bigger corded saw out.

Good deal, keep in mind the newer model 2833-20 runs at much higher rpm and is Brushless and is the latest model. Still this is a solid deal for the batteries alone worth the buy and this is the older brushed model.
