I have the previous generation 3/8" stubby I got on clearance for $41 and it's great, using an adapter for 3/8" to 1/2" is annoying because there's no ball detent to keep it on, so it falls off often.
Direct tools outlet has the subcompact 1/2" kit with a 2ah battery, charger and bag for 95+$15 shipping.
