Has rocker switches instead of the normal kind on the base, where the bulb plugs in. With a lamp near the back of a nightstand, the switch is probably going to hang off the edge, behind the nightstand, where you have to pull it up every time you want to turn the light on/off.
These also have cheap, easier to ship shades, with two separate rings and a roll of paper/fabric that clips on to the rings and Velcros together at the seam.
Kind of just seems like garbage for the price of garbage, not a good price on a good product.

What's a switch? Get a smart bulb. Problem solved.

I do miss the days though, when you could change a lamp shade without having to buy a whole new lamp. There's no standard anymore. Went on a treasure hunt once trying to replace a finial.

Cheap and easy. Progress, I guess.

I bought the orange during the last discount and love them. I use Hue bulbs and never have to mess with using the switch.

The $50 original price is such a joke. These aren't worth $10 each.

Nice deal for a set of 2. These would look great in a bedroom or living room.😍

These are actually decent. The rocker switches are not the most user-friendly, but the design fills a very specific niche: when you want a dumb lamp that's controlled at the power source, by a switched receptacle or smart switch. The inline rocker switch is just a "bonus" and not too easy to flip by mistake.

I got 2 sets when they went for $32/set. I have them scattered around the room, on smart switches, so they could all be turned on/off in unison.

The lampshades are cheap, but they do the job. I might eventually replace them with nicer ones. I did just buy 10 kg of white PETG from AliExpress...
