Starkist is almost as bad as it gets, it's a step above the ghetto government brands they shipped to food pantries
'genova in olive oil' is the best canned tuna experience you'll ever have in your life.

what you mean by that, albacore?

yellow is smoother quality silky on your tongue not chalky like chicken breast that is albacore.

also heightened tuna flavor while albacore i found it blander going forward

I totally agree. This is the only brand I'll buy .. on sale or not. But I buy this at Costco... I'm pretty sure Costco size is bigger than this.

Can we verify its not part of the recall?

Tri-Union Seafoods issued a recall for select Genova Yellowfin Tuna products due to a manufacturing defect with the pull-tab lids, posing a risk of Clostridium botulinum contamination. A batch of previously quarantined tuna was mistakenly redistributed to stores in nine states. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Thanks for the link. I got the 30% coupon so I'll chance it and check. Easy refund if on the list.
