If the RAM speed is 2666, it's probably DDR4.

It states clock frequency on the product information, not data transfer rate. DDR5's lowest data transfer rate is 4800 MT/s, which equates to 2400 Mhz (as data transfer rate of DDR is twice that of clock frequency). 2666 Mhz is plenty within DDR5 range.

The deal itself doesn't look like anything special. The same model (as far as I can see) with 512GB is $439. (https://a.co/d/05UPc9UM) So $50 more for 512GB doesn't seem like an overwhelming deal. But it also doesn't seem a bad price for a reasonable machine.

Totally a typo. This is DDR5. In this case, it is 4800MT/s since it uses Zen3+.

Its a 2024 refresh. About the same as the 6800h and 6850h, which were quite popular in mini pcs last year (at the budget side). it has the older 680m integrated graphics. Temper your expectations.

All things considered, this machine is on par, but isnt particularly slick. The 16gb/512g version from GMKTek last summer (the M7) was like $330. and that was before the rampocalypse.

Im a big mini PC fan (I use an AOOSTAR gem12), but without the beefiest integrated graphics at time of purchase, oculink, or some decent amount of future proof memory inclusion...these are just worser laptops.

If you don't need windows Mac mini is a much better bang for buck at comparable price.
