These are extremely inefficient coolers. Not refrigerators. If you leave them plugged in, they'll eat $5-10/month in electricity. They use peltier modules.

I need this for my trip across the U.S in July. I will be able to keep my Half and Half fresh for my coffee, along with some cold zero sugar sodas. Bought one !

Id buy a real 12v compressor cooler. You can pick one up for under $200. They hold more and are way more efficient. They are also great for power outages.
