I recently bought one of those midwest plastic cans from tractor supply. After a couple months storing some gas in my garage the inside of the can turned white. I have much older cans storing gas much longer that have never done this. Hopefully these cans will do a better job.

What does "oil-tight" even mean? Was the previous model not "oil-tight"? Inquiring minds want to know. What types of oil can I keep in these, and exactly how tightly will it be kept?
