Kobalt's Gen4 40 volt blower looks like a strong value for light yard cleanup, especially if you already use the 40 volt battery line. The 4.0 amp hour battery and charger make the $79 kit stand out, and the blower is described as plenty powerful for walkways, leaf pickup, and even car drying. It is also praised as quieter and far better than cheap 20 volt blowers. The main caution is battery life, since heavy use can drain it fast and may leave little warning before it hits empty. A solid fit when you want cordless convenience without gas blower size or noise.
Homeowners with other Kobalt 40V tools will get the most value, because the shared batteries make this blower a strong add-on for the same ecosystem.
Drivers drying cars after washing will like it, because 450 CFM-plus airflow can push water off paint and reduce towel drying.
Yard cleanup around walkways suits this blower, because it is powerful enough for light work while staying quiet enough for nearby neighbors.
Shoppers replacing weak compact blowers will appreciate it, because it lifts leaves within about a six-foot radius instead of barely moving debris.
Buyers who want maximum blowing power should skip this model, because the 80V version is described as much stronger and longer lasting.
Owners of heavily wooded yards need more output, because this 40V blower will not replace a 900 CFM gas blower for dense leaf cleanup.
People expecting long runtimes from one battery charge should look elsewhere, because the battery can drain to zero quickly and may die early.
Shoppers needing a high-power substitute for a gas blower should avoid it, because it is framed as a lighter-duty option rather than a full replacement.

The Kobalt just freaking lifts up everything within 6ft radius high into the air.
For a lowly 40v 120mph that's pretty good. This is why this is such a smoking deal.
This thing has probably 200x the power of Amazon noname blowers for only 2x the price
And it has a 5yr warranty. Amazon junk has none at all
Got 10% off Lowes gift cards from Doordash as well.
