In my experience, NO handheld blower will equivocate performance with carwash blower. Different beasts. 😀

Anything over 450cfm will PUSH the water off the car and leave you with minimal towel drying. I use an inexpensive Chinese brand I got off Amazon it claims 550cfm and uses two 21v batteries. I only get one blow dry with minimal towel drying. Air drying is best for car drying to avoid swirls and scratches. I would think and am tempted to get this one (bcs the battery will last longer than the two 21v) for car drying and as bonus for yard work.

I have the Kobalt 40V backpack tank sprayer, so I'm buying this instead of the 80V version. I have a heavily wooded yard, so I don't have any fantasies of this replacing my 900CFM gas-powered RedMax, but I hope it's powerful and quiet enough for doing some light work around walkways without jeopardizing my marriage.

Idk what you have… may be an exception. But I watched YouTube videos of many confused "content creators" showcasing their Amazon noname 20v blowers that usually go for $30-50. They all seem happy with them but my god those blowers are absolutely pathetic barely moving any leaves 3" in front of them. The owners seem happy thinking they got a good deal. They could probably move more leaves with a hairdryer.
The Kobalt just freaking lifts up everything within 6ft radius high into the air.
For a lowly 40v 120mph that's pretty good. This is why this is such a smoking deal.
This thing has probably 200x the power of Amazon noname blowers for only 2x the price

And it has a 5yr warranty. Amazon junk has none at all

If you are already in the Kobalt 40v line, this is a no-brainer. As others have said, you will want at least two 4ah batteries. I just bought my third (first two were @ $99 in Jan). Now everyone in the family can have one while i hold my beer and point!
