But the Legion had a much cooler looking RGB on the top side of the 5090 GPU, though that looks really cool and sick!!!. My legion is clocking 4800 mt ram speed after upgrade to 128gb now. Sucks
Now I got a Omen 45L without a GPU and I can't use RTX 2070 (power connector) so I put a "borrowed" a 5080. Man 5080 is slow as hell compared to 5090...
Need to find a use for this Omen 45L. Maybe I can try the Intel 32GB cards if they are good for inference as 5080 16GB is just way too little VRAM.
edit: seems to be crappy speed with the Intel "Running the Qwen MoE (35B) model on a single Intel Arc Pro B70 32GB card yields between 35 to 66 tokens per second," -- 5090 ran 230 Tokens per second.
I need to find the power cable to put a lower end video card in it for now.

I will strip it my Omen and leave it at 32GB RAM, just not sure what I want to use it for yet.
Looks like Intel B70 32GB VRAM card is very very slow on LLM inference so I won't be getting that after all.
think 5070 TI 16GB is good value if I just want Omen as a secondary machine since it's basically free at this point. apparently it's just 15% slower than a 5080 16GB.
The 128GB is for another 5090 machine (Lenovo Legion).

LOL You think millionaires don't like deals? I guess you're not a millionaires. funny to ask someone else to do something.
I'm pretty certain the guy who bought my 5090 Card is reselling somewhere for a higher price. IDK where but he paid a pretty good price well above what I thought I could sell and more than what many people here thought. I'm helping the economy somewhere, one reseller at a time... lol.
