Amazon's regular S&S price for 18 mega rolls (i.e., normal sized) of Charmin Ultra Soft is $33.80, so $0.51 / 100 sheets. But right now there is also an extra 15% off S&S coupon for the mega rolls, which makes it $28.46, so $0.43 / 100 sheets.
Costco has Charmin Ultra Soft at $0.52 / 100 sheets normally, and $0.41 / 100 sheets on sale.
Costco's Kirkland toilet paper is $0.18 / 100 sheets.
So there is cheaper toilet paper out there, but this is a good deal if you need a toilet paper holder. I assume you could put regular-sized rolls on it too.

Maybe it started out as a joke, but my family loves the quality of the paper, something to consider when buying, this is charmin ultra soft. I'm not sure if I will be able to get them off it and onto a office supply jumbo roll as according to plan.

I would buy a bidet if I could. I help my parents, and no matter how much I've brought the idea up, it's a no-go for them. So toilet paper it is! The holder is perfect for the TP on HD's website, and that will last them forever in their upstairs bedroom.
