Amazon's regular S&S price for 18 mega rolls (i.e., normal sized) of Charmin Ultra Soft is $33.80, so $0.51 / 100 sheets. But right now there is also an extra 15% off S&S coupon for the mega rolls, which makes it $28.46, so $0.43 / 100 sheets.
Costco has Charmin Ultra Soft at $0.52 / 100 sheets normally, and $0.41 / 100 sheets on sale.
Costco's Kirkland toilet paper is $0.18 / 100 sheets.
So there is cheaper toilet paper out there, but this is a good deal if you need a toilet paper holder. I assume you could put regular-sized rolls on it too.

Too much lint and dust generated from the roll. (Low quality roll??)
Also, it gets damp easily due to existing moisture. (Low quality that absorbs too much humidity??)
And, not fun/exciting to see this giant roll everyday due to the above, contrary to my initial expectation.

They are always a worse deal than what you can get buying the standard Charmin Mega rolls.
It's around $28 in store at Costco for the Ultra Soft pack of 30 rolls of 213 sheets each. 6390 sheets for $28 is 228 sheets a dollar.
I guess this is OK if you don't live near a Costco, or if you're disabled and have trouble changing rolls. But as a slick deal, there are cheaper ways of getting Charmin.

It meets the criteria that I would look for in basic TP. They are premium jumbo rolls. The width is correct, 3.5", they are double ply and they are perforated along with being septic safe. It's the perforated that is difficult to find. I'm trying to remember off the top of my head it was like 11 cents per hundred sheets. It's best to do it by the linear foot. I also forget that as well but it was two or three times the amount for the price of the Charmin in this deal by the foot.
So if this was something that interested you you could get this deal for the stand and then switch over if you don't have a toilet paper stand already. As far as I can tell that's probably the best deal on halfway decent toilet paper outside of Costco. And it's a better deal by the foot then Costco brand tp. Just have to be willing to look at really big roles.
I'm going to do this getting ready for the inevitable recession that should have already been announced. It is a decent savings.
