This mini PC centers on a Ryzen 7 7735HS with fast LPDDR5 memory and a 680M integrated graphics chip, making it a strong fit for everyday use and lighter games. The CPU and graphics are described as solid for strategy, simulation, and other non intensive titles, while the compact form factor and 512GB SSD keep it simple for a small desktop setup. The main tradeoff is soldered RAM, which cannot be upgraded, and the LPDDR5 5500 speed is slower than DDR5 5600. It also lacks Thunderbolt and OCuLink, so external graphics expansion is not a practical path. A capable compact system if upgradeability is not the priority.

  • Users prioritizing faster memory over future upgrades, because LPDDR5 is faster than SODIMM but soldered to the board.

  • Linux desktop builders who can swap a Wi‑Fi module, because the system may need an Intel chip to work properly under Linux.

  • Casual PC gamers playing strategy or indie titles, because the 680M iGPU handles non-graphics-intensive games well.

  • Home lab owners using it as a Proxmox box, because the compact system can serve as a small virtualization host.

  • People who want to upgrade memory later, because the RAM is soldered to the board.

  • Players expecting Baldur's Gate 3 performance, because the 680M iGPU is not the next-step 780M and was described as unsuitable for that game.

  • Linux users who need supported wireless hardware out of the box, because the included Wi‑Fi module may not be supported at all.

  • Gamers wanting an external GPU setup, because it lacks Thunderbolt and OCuLink and can overheat or throttle badly.

I also got the identical Bosgame P3mix on that good deal, and also a Kamrui a week apart. To be fair, the Kamrui that I bought is a different model (E3B [a.co]) than this deal.

The E3B came with a no name SSD (not NVMe), off brand RAM, and a "windows only" WiFi module that isn't supported 'at all' in Linux. Not apples to apples, but if the quality of the materials used in mine is an indication of the quality of this one, I would definitely pass. You honestly won't know until you receive it and open things up.

I'll also add the the Bossgame came with the Kingston NVMe you noted, but also an Intel WiFi module, and Crucial RAM.

For me, I'll pass on Kamrui every time for using inferior parts.
Thanks for the additional data points. I didn't bother making the memory comparison because just the physical difference of soldered vs. not made it not apples to apples. I should probably check but I'll hope my memory is Crucial.

My wifi is Intel AX210, guessing yours is the same.

Yes. Running Linux for testing for now, but I think this is going to be my proxmox box when I get the time. I did manage to put the inferior Kamrui as a Linux desktop after replacing the wifi module with the same Intel chip ($22 on Amazon).

LPDDR5 RAM is faster than SODIMM, with the pain point being that it's soldered to the board, so I guess you have to pick your poison based on speed vs. the advantage of being able to upgrade. The hype is around the speed advantage, which sells units.
R U Kidding me?

You think DDR5 5500 is FASTER then DDR5 5600?

So first of all, you are giving 100% INCORRECT information.

If you want to discuss this... you can say, SOME LPDDR5 RAM runs at 8000 and is faster then ddr that runs at 5600 (max limit regarding RAM that is exchangable). But this deal has DDR5 5500 which is SLOWER then DRR5 5600.

I just want to point out a few things...
1. It is NOT a 780m which is the GPU on the very next level CPU that AMD makes, so why get this model?
2. Nowhere does it say what gen is the hard drive, so we need to assume it is 3rd gen m.2.
3. 5500MHz DDR5 RAM.. if this is correct then DDR5 5600 is faster.

like I said, the very next CPU that AMD makes has the 780m GPU and that is what you should be looking at right now based on costs. AND I found a cheaper system that has the better CPU/GPU.

I have an Asus TUF A16 with the 7735HS. The CPU and 680M iGPU within are terrific for games that aren't graphic-intensive (e.g. Starsector, Pillars of Eternity, Factorio, Endless Space 2, Terraria, Brigador, Dawn of War series)... basically anything that isn't an FPS or Baldur's Gate 3.

You left out one very important fact....

LPDDR5 5500

The 5500 states it speed. And DDR5 5600 is FASTER then LPDDR5 5500.

Your confusion comes because LPDDR5 can go as high as 8000 while DDR5 is limited to 5600. BUT this is not that 8000 speed, it is 5500 which is slower then 5600.

And the VERY NEXT CPU by AMD...

7840HS can play Baldur Gate 3 AND you can find it for this price with 16GB of DDR5 5600 RAM, that is upgradable.

But at this point it is the harddrive. For me Baldur's gate is 130GB you need to download... then you need another 130GB to install the game. And now you can delete the original dowloaded file.
