I need Microsoft Publisher and this is a way for me to have it. But I'm afraid Microsoft will eventually cancel the keys for this version like they've done for previous versions in the past. I'm not referring to gray keys either. Anyone have any experience with this?

Be careful.

Office 2019 for Mac was discontinued in 2023, and starting in July 2026, you won't be able to edit or save documents (just open them). They snuck in a kill-switch in one of the last "security" updates.

Buying something "perpetually" doesn't mean "forever" anymore.
