Ryobi has a much larger lineup of tools, with 300 different tools that operate on their 18v battery, for starters.

Craftsmans tools are kinda below par which reflects in pricing. Just bought couple of those Craftsmans 18v blowers and they barely blow faster than a decent fan.
Opened one, but returning the other.

the batteries 1.5 Ah are small = shorter run time size. You do get 2 though, so lighter weight added to the tool.

Craftsman, Kobalt and Ryobi are basically the surviving 'DIY' tool brands, good enough for home use but value engineered without jobsite endurance and features.

Kobalt locks you into Lowes as a primary supplier. Kobalt power tools are mostly made by Chervon, same company as Flex.

Ryobi is made by TTI who also makes Milwaukee and Ridgid power tools. Ryobi largely locks you into Home Depot.

Craftsman is a Stanley Black & Decker brand, same company as Dewalt, as well as a bunch of de facto / dejure defunct power tool brands. Craftsman is sold at Lowes but can also be found at Ace and other places. Like a lot of SBD brands, the power tools are practically a separate company from the hand tools and other shop accessories.

Each of the lines has their good tools and their stinkers, and the basic 18V brushless drill/driver is essentially the same for all power tool brands.

No one makes an 18V blower that is worth a darn. They're good for blowing sawdust off your workbench. If you're looking for an actual yard blower get an Ego.

DYI users don't overthink this - for light use this is a good deal. If you have delusions of grandeur and plan to build a house this is probably not for you,
