That's an even better price than we had in May

I take it back. "This product can't be shipped to your address. Select another product or address."

FYI a certain site is also offering 20% CB from Aliexpress. I got my order in this morning, total $399.22 what a price! - I can only get this to ship to NJ when using Firefox. Mobile, Edge, safarai all don't work for some reason. everything shows "This product can't be shipped to your address. Select another product or address."

Wow... tempting. New to these larger power stations but researching them - how does this rank in its class? It seems like some of you guys like the Anker stuff and I've particularly seen a lot of talk about the Solix C2000 Gen 2. This seems like a pretty good price though, esp with the 20% potential CB (although, isn't that risky with use of the coupon/promo code?)

Wanted the Solix C2000, but for this price I made the purchase.

Added a 400W Renogy portable suitcase panel as well. Need to find an adapter for that now.

I'll try to report back tomorrow if the cashback thing goes through - it's my first time using that cashback site so they gave an extra ten percent and I'd be pretty annoyed if I didn't get the $235 back I'm expecting from those 2 items. The checkout screen has been hanging for a while, probably not a great sign.. but the order went through. I don't see anything pending in the cashback app yet. I'll give it some time.

Nice - what's the link on the Renogy? Is that the more popular solar panel option? Not sure if I need that just yet especially as we haven't been that much into car camping but a larger power station is definitely something I've been keen on getting, especially to bring in our Sienna as needed. I eventually want to get a larger fridge for our Sienna especially when we go grocery shopping or camping (I have the 23qt BougeRV in our Tesla and it's so nice having that) .

I just got my 20% cash back for buying the explorer 1000. I'm not sure if you're able to double dip with your 10% on top of that thought

I went with this one https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32...pt=glo2usa

Mainly because they're rigid and I like the Renogy brand from back in my vanlife days. Hopefully they're easier to deal with in wind than the flexible panels, I'll be using them in a place that regularly has high wind. These panels also have good performance in partial shade and I'll be in a heavily forested area - don't want to worry too much about constantly rearranging them for maximum exposure.

The extra 10% appears capped at $50 but it's there in pending.

I ended up going for the Explorer 1000. I don't think I need as many watts as with the 2000. The primary use case would be for running a BougeRV fridge or something in the back of our Sienna and then just trickle-charging it otherwise while the car is running. Secondary use cases would be to keep stuff cold like on beach days or even for if/when we go camping (whether car or tent), to have something that can be a decent power source. I don't envision bringing a microwave, hair dryer, or really any other higher wattage types of appliances. Maybe if anything, the Instant Pot? haha.

Seems the 2000 is better for longer-term camping/van-life or having more substantial backup power for home outages, etc. We actually have a gas generator at home and I've used it maybe once but these incidents are pretty rare.

I've been keeping various portable power stations in specific areas of the home to use as a UPS. This 2000 unit will be in the basement for my sump pump in case a storm knocks out the power it could at least keep the pump running. I always have a gas generator just in case these battery ones run out of juice, but it gives me time to get things running. I take my 1000wh units camping.
