I know deals on these batteries are common, and lots of people buy them, just be aware they look to be CE rated (European rating system) and not UL rated (North American system) . Both ratings are good, but insurance might take issue if the battery isn't UL rated and you're operating in the USA

I am going to try to swap the lead acid batteries of my 54" Ryobi zero turn mower with this. The current lead acid batteries are rated at 65ah but I think a 50ah lithium can outperform them.
Used a 25Ah, 100A bms on for an RM300e and its been running great, but doubt the 54" zero turn would function well. Its odd that they all have the 50A anderson connectors, but the 54" supposedly can have over 4000w inrush when initiating blade motors while moving. Its a pretty inexpencive battery, but aliexpress has a DC house looking 100ah 200a battery with charger for less than 650. So not much more if you need a lithium charger. I didnt have one, but installed and external anderson port to charge directly from solar charge controler. Just

i also did the lithium conversion for my ryobi riding mower but I regret not going 100ah; sometimes when motor is running full speed, and the grass is more than a few inches, I struggle going uphill. I've had to mow it twice, once on the highest height, then a 2nd time at the desired height. Super tall grass in the mornings will really bog down the blades and motor and cause the battery to drain prematurely. I use to be able to cut front yard and back yard (0.75 acre) with 50ah, now I can only do like 0.5 acre before the mower goes completely dead and I have to push it uphill for 30 minutes.

I am currently dealing with EcoWorthy through AliExpress, and this has been, without question, the worst customer service experience I have had in over 50 years. What should have been a simple return has turned into an ongoing, frustrating ordeal. The batteries I purchased do not fit, yet after nearly a month, I am still being given the runaround with no resolution in sight. The level of inefficiency, lack of accountability, and overall disregard for the customer is frankly unacceptable. Based on this experience, I strongly caution anyone considering a purchase to think twice. I would not consider buying from this seller again under any circumstances.

Will this work on 48v golf cart? If it works, what kind of charger it requires?

I agree they have lots of issues but what kind of credit card do you use. Its way easy for me to go through credit card claiming faulty product, or no return possible, or warranty coverage through credit card. Start that call and documentation now as well if aliexpress doesn't come through.

I like UL but even costco don't have space heaters with UL on it, so...... ??? Guess insurance wins again smh

Just stating the obvious for those who might not realize it's a 48V battery ---

this is NOT a 12V battery.

Just installed this in my Ryobi RM480ex. I've only mowed once so far, but it seems to work great. About 100lbs lighter than the stock lead acid batteries.

That guy copy and pastes in every thread. He says the battery "doesn't fit." Like he ordered a battery from China and it didn't fit where he thought it would and thinks they will ship it back to China and refund him for free for not checking the dimensions? He is trolling. Eco-worthy and AliExpress are very reputable and I have done a lot of business with both and no complaints.

I have been researching this quite a bit. Depending on your use case, you may need to buy more than one to provide the necessary power for hilly or instances with a lot of weight placed on the cart (for example if you have a rear seat with passengers, are towing, or hauling)

I agree. The 50 amp BMS could be a limiting factor. 50 Volts * 50 Amps = 2500 watts. Which is about what you need in golf cart, but going up hill etc could pull too much and force the BMS to shutdown for 60 seconds (just assuming this might be how BMS works). Maybe the 200 amp peaking power of the BMS would be enough, but who knows? Most 48 volts come with 100amp and now 200 amp BMS's. So that could partially explain the price. Fair chance it would work but it's a risk. Better for solar, or a smaller vehicle.

Best price per watt so far
Are you talking about this type of battery or just any cost/Wh?

If its the later then no it's not. The cheapest I've ever seen was the 12V 280Ah by eco-flow almost $200, I think it was like $214-7. If I'm remembering correctly its like $0.056.../Wh while everything else averages around $0.07-0.11/Wh

The rough way I'll look at them is for every 12V with 100Ah is roughly $1 per Ah. It helps me compare against them when browsing to get an idea of where they sit on average.

I bought this same battery earlier to power a 48v golf cart. Works great, but wish now that I had bought the 100Ah.
