People would enter numerous fake names/entries otherwise...also, you need to have a cc in your name with your address. No more than one entry per address.
They're trying to get rid of as many speculators and bad actors as they can.

Remind me, if you can attend any day, there's no reason not to apply for everything right? Not as if applying for fewer things increases odds for what you do apply for, or if winning one year affects odds in another year...?

Yes, apply for the max for all available days. Not sure how that affects odds, if at all, I would hope not.
