1. The magnetic planar drivers are really good at sound production; the "sound quality" is considered top notch.
2. Any issues with the headphones? You'll probably have to toss them and buy another pair. And QC for these is hit or miss: Some people have them for years and years with no issues, and others go through multiple pairs despite babying them. 🤷 ♂️
Either way, the sound is as good as other brands' $600 headphones, and the quality control is as good as an open air toilet with a few hundred thousand repeat customers.

In addition, the official website has a list of authorized sellers on Aliexpress. If you look at the Description section on the Aliexpress link, it says that the authorized sellers are "Unauthorized"
When I was shopping and looking at reviews people seemed to really enjoy both the sundara and XS. They punch way way above their price points.
