If it says " PoE+ (802.3at/af)" does that mean it's active vs passive?

Some APs (Ruckus) require active.

Anything thats AT/AF/BT is all Active, Passive switches stopped being a thing well before 2020. You can still find some for legacy hardware but they are not very common anymore.

So if i plug this in my
Basement and connect other ethernet passes in the attic will get power ? I can just plug the roof mount router with Ethernet and it gets power? Any suggestion for mount router?

Assuming you meant access point on the roof, it would need to be poe compatible. Router-switch-access point

So if I was setting up a network, rather than needing a PoE injector for each access point, I could use a PoE switch like this to run a line to each access point?
