Wish these were better. By the time the camera loads, the person is gone. Super slow!

Does anyone know if you can add these to a grandfathered no-sub account?

I just added a new doorbell to my old no-sub account and there were no issues.

I used to have Blink cameras and they were so slow, I hated them. Thanks for the update that they're still slow.

What a shame. I have a blink setup with Gen 2 and 3 cameras. I was hoping the newer ones would be better. Features are one thing, but if the motion capture is slow, it is pointless

unless you want cameras to watch cars and birds pass by get something else. as mentioned by the time the camera loads the feed that person is gone. rest of the time its saying system busy.

What functionality is that
subscription includes:
Cloud video storage — save and share clips
Person detection — smart notifications when a person is detected
Vehicle detection — alerts for vehicle activity
Blink Moments — advanced feature for highlight clips
Without a subscription, the cameras still work for live view and motion alerts, but video storage and smart detection require the plan.

This is might be true with the newer version. On mine, I can save it on micro SD card. There is a slot in the blink module device to save all the recording offline.

If you are referring to the old blink sync module v2 that allows you to record the video clips to the internal storage, I believe so as long as you are not exceeding the max of 10 cameras.
