Aside from any other differences of features on the cameras, the draw of using this one device instead of two separate ones is that 1)you only need to run wires for a single device, 2)both cameras can record to a single sd card, 3)both views show up together as a single camera device in the app or your NVR, 4)it looks cleaner than having two separate devices right next to each other.
There are some drawbacks as well, such as a single failure point can take out both views, and you are more limited in the directions the two views can aim relative to each other.
There are settings to adjust the stitch. Its not always perfect. of there is a spider web on one side and not on there other, it will be clear its 2 images. I saw my neighbor walking in his yard the other day and he vanished for a second. But only because he was far away. There isnt really a blind spot someone could sneak up or do something horrible in if thats what you are thinking

There is no gap in the middle and you can adjust the seam vertically in case they aren't lining up. At the highest bitrate they take ~1.5MB/s. Color night vision is solid.
I have a duo2 camera as well but it broke (1 mo after warranty). While their support wouldn't still swap it they gave me a discount on my 2nd duo3. I tracked the issue down to a bad decoupling capacitor on the power board and they told me the appropriate rating needed to replace it. (I never want to solder something that small again) The duo2 lives again!
