But just to help others on here:
In my area, 3 piece tenders a la carte sell for $7.79 total (2 pcs of chicken a la care sell for $6.99 total) down to $1 each with this deal; sides (even if they give you the regular), sell for $3.29 each down to a $1 each, and a biscuit sells for $1.29 each, down to $1. So it is actually a good deal, more than 50% off.

Or another way to think of it. If you spend $10 worth, you are discounted on the items you bought including the free item. If you bought an item for $7.50 and another for $2.50 and the free item usually sells for $5; you are getting all items each for $3.33.
Now an actual good deal:
Ex. Suppose Sonic sells a burger for $5.69 and they offer it free, BUT you need to satisfy a minimum $5 price threshold. The free item in this case has more value than the $5 min. You can choose to buy items up to or at $5.69. Basically, it gives you the item for free or at least BOGO or better. If I chose to spend $5. I get the free item ($5.69 in value) and I get two items for $3.50 and $1.50. In this case, I get all items for $5/3 = $1.66
In this case, if you spend $10 and the free item is like $5 in value, you basically spent $10 on overpriced items (none of the items are worth totaling that $10 price tag) and you are getting a free item, where basically the restaurant made its money back.
Get it?
These restaurants KNOW that you want the free item (that is the bait). If they get you to spend more just to get it, they have reeled you in.
FYI: This $6 deal is better than a free item with $10 purchase just because of the discount on each item.
the fastest i've gotten food was during non peak hours and it still took 15 mins. the slowest was 50 mins and I preordered on the app.....
