Instead of a gas griddle I have a Weber Q gas grill and a griddle plate. This way I have everything I need in 1 grill at camp.

Also regarding home use, I have an electric griddle that I use for stuff like pancakes, warming tortillas, cooking veggies, etc etc. It's a more efficient cooking surface that pairs well with a nice stainless steel pan. Plus it collects grease which I can easily dispose of.
