Worth noting, two way radios are banned on Norwegian Cruise Line.Radios with more than 7 mile range are banned on Royal Caribbean (that includes the ones in the OP)

For what it's worth any mention/promise of mileage is purely farcical unless you have a 50-W GMRS-type radio. The only thing that dictates range is geography. So, when Royal Caribbean allegedly says radios with more than a 7-mi range aren't allowed, that could include any radio or no radios (means nothing).

I looked at bunch on Amazon, because I'm in the market for it. Most are that way, obstructions, buildings will reduce distance. And very much so in this price range. I'm sure paying $100+ will get you a set that can go through obstructions better, but not sure, because I only need it for church and haven't looked at more expensive ones.

I can let peeps know about this when I get it. But shipping is 10 days out, oh my.
