I've heard mostly positive reviews of this book. BUT. I quote the title of it all the time in reference to this book. And it's good to do hard things. So for that alone, it's probably worth it! Thanks, book.

I wish to preach, not the doctrine of ignoble ease, but the doctrine of the strenuous life, the life of toil and effort, of labor and strife; to preach that highest form of success which comes, not to the man who desires mere easy peace, but to the man who does not shrink from danger, from hardship, or from bitter toil, and who out of these wins the splendid ultimate triumph. – Theodore Roosevelt

Won't find anything in this book you couldn't find free online on a David Goggins video. Or Arnold or whoever. Huberman talked about the anterior midcingulate cortex. Study that for 5 minutes and save $2

Wouldn't doing the hard thing be reading the book rather than the 5min study? Lol no hate, just.. some irony in this comment.

The hard thing would be actually figuring things out in your life, not buying a $2 book that won't change shit
