Yes prices are up for everything that uses NAND. Yes that is because of AI. In the current environment, it's a good price.
This won't work on most regular devices that use MicroSD. Only get it for things like the Switch 2.

You are thinking of Regular MicroSD cards, not SD Express. These have only been available at the launch of the Switch 2 as the Switch 2 is the only device that uses them. The 512GB SD Express card was ~$90 around launch.

It will work fine on most devices that use regular MicroSD cards. SD Express cards are backwards-compatible. However, they won't be able to hit quite as high speeds as some regular SD cards.

This is being price gouged everywhere else like Amazon and Best Buy for $349.99. Not sure if it's more memory/storage woes. $180 is the typical sale price for this, but an outlier for current market pricing. Either Costco is just keeping it real or other retailers are smoking something, or both…

This was on sale for $150 last year I think around November. Or maybe it was early this year. Though with the price jumps I doubt we see that again.
