Absolutely love mine as a beginner drone. I paid about $100 more. I have had it "follow me" mountain biking and it has done an excellent job in very tight trees. Hit a tree or 2 but it is still flying well.

A fantastic beginner drone, you do not have to use the controller which is the biggest advantage, you can have it follow you and control it with gesture (need to watch guide in app in order to enable).
It is under 0.55lbs meaning you do not have to register for recreational use in US(still, I'd recommend doing so, and be sure to go over https://uavcoach.com/faa-recreati...-training/)
And even if you're flying without controller it would be the best to keep your phone connected all the time just in case you need to take over the control.
I would consider this a flying selfie stick that has a stick as long as your phone wifi range (practically speaking 900feet in direct line of sight, taking drone battery life into consideration when fully charged) which will take off and land on your palm!

Results vary. Maybe climbing it does well. I rode a downhill track and it was an absolute nightmare, crashing literally every 10 seconds.

Bought one from Ebay from a S. Korea seller for the same price without the controller. Love mine, and tempted to buy this one just to have this controller (there are 4 different ones that can work with this drone), but probably going to wait for a deal for an Avata 2 or 360 with the goggles and FPV controller. This isn't just a beginner drone - its the drone I want if I'm filming around people or need something super safe (props are enclosed) , or need something to do fast shots (launch and land from hand without needing a controller). I have it in a case strapped to my chest on my hiking/biking backpacks, and I can launch, follow film, and land and store within seconds. Been using it downhill mountain biking and it will keep up as long as you don't have it go thru thick brush and trees, where it has to slow down to navigate around. Its basically my go to flying selfie camera. Planning to go FPV (ie Avata 2/360, or other drone that works with the DJI Occusync protocl so I can share the goggles and controler with my Neo 2) for faster shots where I want to pilot.
