I got these Mastens for a similar price during the recent Woot deal. They are really good sunglasses. They look great and are not flimsy and not too heavy.

It might be hard to notice. They are not photocromatic like the eyeglasses that go from full clear to dark. It's a very subtle photocromatic change. I also thought they didn't work at first. But if you take a UV light and hold it over one of the lenses you can clearly see how they get darker.

I wore these exact glasses (also from Eyedictive, purchased for the same price a month or two ago) maybe 10-12 times tops, and the right hinge is messed up already. It makes a really horrible cracking sound when it flexes, and doesn't maintain tension. They're unwearable at this point. I contacted Serengeti and am waiting to hear back, but I don't expect them to honor their lifetime warranty since these were purchased from Eyedictive, who aren't a authorized reseller for Serengeti (or anyone). Waste of $69. I liked 'em while I had them, but I'm back to Maui Jims.

how wide are they? it looks like the temples bow outward from the hinges. do they look wide on the face/head?

Bought these. Still early in use. Lenses seem great, but the frame creaks and feels cheap. I worry it will not last long. Wearing Maui Jim's this week.
