At Amazon, the 53 Quart Electric Cooler choice shows as $237 on sale right now.. cheaper per quart by a few cents. I like the larger size.

They have the 53 quart for $237, am I reading this right? Isn't that a better deal???
You pay 20% more for 25% more storage space, but the production cost is certainly not even 10% more with the same compressor. It sounds fair instead of a better deal. More important, the 53 quart one may not fit your car. It also too tall to be hidden under the cargo cover of most SUV or pickup truck. For me, it is the same cost per qt after the $40 off from AmEx reward ($157 for 42qt vs $197 for 53qt).

If you like the larger size, look at the Bougerv CRS 53 quart series. It's not as tall, is quieter, not as heavy, and has an app.

Im debating getting one with wheels since this might seem heavy moving around. Mind if I ask your opinion on that?
I don't think it's heavy at all, maybe when it's loaded?? empty it's super light (IMO)

I got the Bodega 42 quart version, I chose it over the linked one because tis 38 quarts instead of being 19/19 for the dual sides, it's 30q on the one side and 12q on the other side. I don't need the freezer to be half the size (most of the time it's probable 3q-4q of frozen stuff (and the rest of the space is water bottles).

I figure if I only need a 30q or 12q refrigerator, I can just turn the other half off and it'll use less power.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CFF9J47K. It's more right now, but I got it for $262.25 on sale (I've seen it on sale a lot with and with a clipable coupon).

I also keep a blanket over it (don't block the vents) and use one of those windshield shades to block the sun some by the window that it's near.
The one I linked to has a removable divider, not fixed. Mine has one. Very nice and easy to convert.

Man...I don't even camp and couldn't resist this damn deal with the discounts and AmEx rewards. $133 OTD...WTH am I going to do with this thing. Will bleed my Tesla's battery dry? Can I also use it like a regular cooler?

This is bigger than the one I already have. Very useful on trips or just as a spare fridge.
Trip cooler plus spare fridge duty is a good combo. It won't be sitting around collecting dust for sure.

I wish the "small zone" was a separate climate area. As it stands, it's a bit warmer than the main area but the delta isn't enough to have freezer and fridge zones.
I got the Bodega 42 quart and the small zone is 12q and you can run the temperature independent of the other one. I was very happy with it on my 3 week road trip to Florida in May.

I rambled more about the cooler in this comment:

I noticed today it had a 10% coupon (it was 5% a couple days ago) which brings it down to $240 ($23 less than I paid). It's there on the page and you have to hit redeem on the page, but it also listed it? ZYE50DVJT7EG

Got this the last time it was on sale. It's pretty massive. I have it connected to a small EcoFlow for camping trips with the 12v connector. It doesn't drain the battery too much unless you keep opening and closing it. I'd recommend putting already cold items in there otherwise it'll end up working overtime and freezing everything even in the refrigerator section.
Strange question, but we use a RTIC cooler on our boat for drinks and need to also use it to step on for getting onto the dock. Do you think these things could handle getting stepped on like that? Really sick of putting ice in there every weekend, but know that the RTIC is strong enough to handle it (3 years running now)

Where would you put this in your car so it isn't in the way of anyone sitting comfortably?

Is there any perceived problem storing this in a shed in the Florida summer when not in use? We have no room inside our home for it.

Like most fridges make sure it's bone dry wipe it down with alcohol, if u live in a humid place add some disectant packets to absorb moisture . But it should be fine ,other than that
