This is a solid midrange gaming prebuilt centered on a Ryzen 5 7500X3D and RX 9070 XT, with enough power for 1440p and even some 4K at lower settings. The bundle is helped by the included 1TB SSD, Windows 11, and name brand core parts, and the member price lands around $1300 after Micro Center sign up. The main knocks are the single 16GB RAM stick, a cramped case with limited expansion, and a motherboard and PSU that feel more budget than premium. It is a practical way to get this spec without the hassle of a full DIY build.

  • The prebuilt can be positioned as a fair price when compared with buying key parts separately at typical street pricing.

  • The bundle can deliver a strong 1440p gaming experience with a Ryzen 5 7500X3D and RX 9070XT combination.

  • The system can include a higher-end AMD GPU and a 1TB SSD, reducing the need for immediate storage upgrades.

  • The included extended warranty can provide practical coverage for cleaning and quick hardware replacement.

  • The configuration can include only 16GB of RAM, which limits headroom for heavier workloads.

  • The case design can have limited expansion and may lack exhaust, which can create airflow concerns.

  • The motherboard connectivity can lack USB4, which can matter for VR setups.

  • The CPU warranty and replacement process can be less favorable for tray 7500X3D failures after the return window.

Good to know re: cpu failures. Fingers crossed I won't have issues.

I was lucky enough to scoop a 9060XT 16Gb when it hit 250 on woot, but I know that's not going to happen with the vast majority of people. Same deal with my 1TB Lexar NM790 for $50 back before the rampacalypse. Still, if you just want a prebuilt, you could do a lot worse than this one.
Don't worry about it, I've done a couple dozen 7500X3D builds so far, and no issues yet, but worth mentioning since others have had it happen. Prebuilt buyers deal with worse all day every day, I get those in all the time too, with something loose, something done wrong, etc. If they don't mind paying a couple hundred more than MSRP, or even more than a local builder charges, that's their prerogative.

My husband and I just purchased this setup plus the graphics card. Also got the extended warranty for a full 2 years and it covers everything from cleaning the computer to quick hardware replacement. Standard warranty you have to wait on the RMA process and now there are tariffs involved.
We saved over $1,000 by going this route and not building ourselves. Nothing in the computer is no name either. All quality brands and manufacturers.

I've heard of people having issues with AMD GPUs. Does anyone have any experience with them? I've only ever had NVIDIA GPUs
I've heard of 5090s melting cables. Was it something worse than that? Look up Daniel Owen on YouTube. It just happened to him and they send him review units. But to answer your question, I have experience with both. I own a 3070, the 9070 and 9070XT, 7900XTX and an Arc A770. I'm not a super power user, but I've never had an issue playing anything I wanted to play. I have heard of some cards developing coil whine and things of that nature, but so far mine haven't.

I have a 9070xt and it plays everything I throw at it without issues. My 2070 Super crashed way more often than this one.

Sad and absurd that this amount of money only gets you 16gb of RAM now.

First time poster and 20 years lurker and this price sucks compared to 2008
Are you seriously trying to compare this to 2008 with the rise of AI data centers hogging GPU 🤦 + inflation

Nice find. I saw this at $1399 and already thought it was decent in the current market. At $1299, even better. If only I could justify buying another PC, this would have been it.

I've had my powerspec for 11 years now. Knock wood. They make good computers.

Super solid build at this price. If you're timing is golden, you can DIY close to this but it's absolutely not worth the hassle and also requires a microcenter nearby.

This lands someone in the "middle" tier for a gaming PC. With the 9070xt, it bumps you from the bottom of the mid tier a bit since it's somewhere close to the 5th-7th best consumer GPU available depending on how you choose to score it.

Prices are simply not going to go down anytime soon because any hope in a reduction of costs for CPUs or GPUs being replaced by their next iterations to reduce costs won't offset the RAM/SSD/VRAM costs.

If I was in the market or on the fence for a mid tier PC, I'd jump all over this and wouldn't think twice.

Also worth noting that a CPU is the easiest/cheapest thing to upgrade (IMO) and anyone going through the trouble of going to a MC to buy this could also considering snagging a separate bundle while they're there to keep the ram and sell the rest on marketplace. I was able to grab a couple of 7500x3d bundles on my very long trip to MC (x2) and kept the ram while selling the MOBO and chip for a $30 loss. But that meant I netted 32gb of DDR5 6000 RAM for $60. I went to MC for other items but parlayed it into RAM I used to make my kiddo a PC as a graduation gift.

TLDR - Buy if it's in your budget and enjoy 1440p (and could def handle 4k low fps) to your heart's desire.
