completely different chip. 5070 ti is on gb 203 so a cut down 5080 wheras the 5070 is on gb 205

They seem to have plenty of these similar MSI ones for $10 more... yes, Asus is usually more expensive so this is a good deal for that exact card, but OP deal doesn't seem like a "must buy now" super bargain if you are after any 5070 12GB model and not the Asus brand. https://www.microcenter.com/produ...phics-card
These 5070 12GB are weaker and cheaper than 5070ti 16GB, but they are also shorter, so that might be the deciding factor depending on your case dimensions.
