I got the 9070 xt at Amazon for 630$ and that's between 15-20% faster and that's an OC model. Yes this seems like a decent price but I would rather wait for prime day and see if you can get a deal like the one I got. Maybe get this one and plan to return it if you can find a better deal on prime day. Good luck.

i got from microcenter for $560 3 months ago, same stuff except '2x', so it's shorter and only 2 fans, but everything else same. I think microcenter has been selling it with that price for months already.

dude im done with AMD for GPUs. I've owned a RX580, 6800, 7900XTX.

I have no idea what's going on with their recent drivers but they're really buggy and unstable. Look at AMDHelp on reddit a ton of people are having issues. I wish intel would focus on gaming so we have another manufacturer but AI is the new cash cow.

It's that bad? I heard they fixed the majority of issues, my 6950 xt only had a few issues with maybe three of their driver updates, which went on for about three to four months but overall for that last 3 years it's been great. That really sad to hear, I was hoping that 9070xt I got for my wife was going to be good... so you think the 5070 is better even though it's 15-20 percent slower?

I wouldn't think so, it's 10-15 percent faster, is that worth $600 plus to you. I would probably wait until they come down in price or until it have enough for the xx80 series.

Really depends, but having 3 AMD GPUs, I might not buy another one due to issues I experienced. don't even have to talk about anything productivity, they still have quite a bit of work to do in ray tracing or frame generation.

I've had multiple cards from Nvidia and AMD. I never had too much trouble with either, but definitely more with Nvidia, especially recently with my 5090.

You get a massive native jump in speed, relief from VRAM anxiety, and a night-and-day difference in smoothness the second you toggle Frame Generation on.

Even if you completely ignore Frame Generation and look at pure raw power, the RTX 5070 is a massive upgrade. The 5070 roughly targets the performance tier of the previous generation's RTX 4070 Ti Super, pretty close to the 4080.
